AUTHENTIC MODELS ALUMINUM CARS
Indianapolis Car in Aluminum with Red Seat.
Enthusiasts of technical progress in the 1930s loved racing on the track with the legendary BB Korn commonly known as “Spindizzy” or “Machines at the pylon”. They achieved astounding speeds while continually imposing prohibitive standards on the competition. BB Korn Manufacturing Company founder Barney Korn built numerous Spindizzy models which today as classic cars are sold at dizzying prices at auction. For the children of his customers Korn designed and built the Indianapolis that was a real revelation among non-motorized cars in the prewar period. The intent was to involve the little ones and entice them to the sport of motor racing. With a dash equipped with gauges, rubber tires and hand-polished aluminum bodywork, our Indianapolis is a true tribute to the great Korn.
